Tell us about your brand! When did you launch, where are you headquartered, what moved you to start your business?
“We are a small, family-owned holistic wellness company that provides products aimed towards improving people’s physical and mental health. I started the business because I realized that as I got older, I started to get a lot more stressed and had a lot more anxiety.”
“Even when I could stop, take a second, and identify that I’m stressed at this very moment, it was hard for me to get out of it. I’ve always been a huge advocate for staying healthy and wanting to live as long as possible, so I don’t miss any moments in my kid’s (and hopefully grandkids) lives, so I started looking for healthy and natural ways to relieve my own stress and anxiety.”
“I felt so much better after focusing on my own mental and physical health that it made an immediate difference in my daily attitude and energy with my kids and my wife. After this experience, I wanted to share these products and habits with as many people as possible so that they too can improve their own daily lives and in turn spreading that same energy to the people around them.”
“I have a background in digital and social marketing, so I knew I could drive traffic to a website for these amazing products, but the only thing I needed to learn on the fly was setting up and optimizing a Shopify store. I studied up on blogs and YouTube videos and focused on converting customers after getting them to my site, and that’s when I came across Fomo.
Why do you like Fomo?
“Fomo has been fantastic for us. I absolutely love that you are automatically posting actual purchases for active on-site customers to see. The psychology of wanting something that someone else has is absolutely brilliant!”
What are a couple of specific conversion-related problems you’re experiencing?
“We are definitely having too many people drop out after adding to cart. Some that are abandoning their carts and some that don’t even make it past checkout.”
What other strategies did you try to address those issues before using Fomo?
“We are currently A/B testing our shipping prices and seeing if that’s the reason people are changing their minds before finishing their purchase.”
“We have an automated abandon checkout email, SMS, and Facebook message that fires out to a customer that abandoned their cart. We also have Facebook/Instagram retarget ads that go to people that added to cart but never made a purchase.”
How did you learn about Fomo?
“I read a blog, and they were talking about what an incredible conversion tool Fomo was.”
What prompted you to move forward with Fomo?
“I really just understood the concept right away. I’m very into psychology and people’s habits, and without even seeing any data, I just knew that something like this would work.”
Have you tried any of our competitors? If so, why did you choose Fomo instead?
“I have not. I started with Fomo and have been very happy since the beginning, so I haven’t even looked elsewhere.”
The Mecka has been using Fomo for about seven months now and is tracking Fomo analytics in the Fomo Dashboard.
How has using Fomo benefited your business?
“The first week I activated Fomo, we had a 1.5% increase in conversions. Truthfully, it’s hard to say if it grew more from there because I implemented a handful of other apps and marketing techniques. Still, 1.5% alone was a massive revenue increase for us as our average order is just over $30.”
Do you have any changes you’d like to see made with Fomo? Any ideas for the team?
“This isn’t necessarily a change, but I did just notice the Christmas theme notification, and I’m obsessed! I would love to have more holiday or current event themed notifications to choose from.”
Do you have any advice for other Fomo users?
“Just do it. Even if you don’t optimize this great feature, get Fomo up the second you have a .com.”
What is one thing you want customers to take away from your business? What are you truly selling?
“We are selling a positive addition to your daily lifestyle. We provide simple and easy ways that are not time-consuming so that you can improve your daily health and happiness and enjoy this beautiful life that you were given. We truly believe that if you are mentally and physically happy that that will spread to the people around you, and that contagious energy will help them be happier and healthier as well.”
