Boosting New User Acquisition 70% With Social Proof
Fybr is an eco-conscious lifestyle boutique with a focus on bamboo clothing and alternative sustainable fibers.
“Our purpose is to inspire and promote an eco-conscious lifestyle that doesn't sacrifice style and comfort.”
It started with a bamboo t-shirt and turned into a dream.
When Kamala Allison purchased a bamboo t-shirt in 2014 for her husband, Jason, little did she know that this would be a catalyst for a new passion and career. Over the next several years, soft bamboo clothing and bedding continued to cross her radar as she acquired more pieces.
“I can’t quite put my finger on when it became a business concept. Maybe it was when my 10-year-old son received a pair of bamboo socks that he coveted as his favorite because they felt SO good,” Kamala says, “but somewhere along the way, I discovered bamboo was much more than just soft clothing and bed sheets. Bamboo is a renewable resource, and the fabric is ultra-soft, naturally breathable, and high performing.”
In 2018, the Allison’s opened Fybr in Santa Cruz, California. Not long after, they launched ShopFybr.com so customers could continue to experience their service and products through their Shopify store.
“While our primary focus is bamboo, we carry other unique items made from alternative textiles and recycled materials as well as natural body products and socially conscious brands. Every item has a story behind it, whether it’s eco-conscious, locally made, or socially responsible.”
“Fybr’s customers are conscious shoppers and want to know they’re buying high-quality items that enhance their lifestyle while also doing good for the planet. Our goal is to make conscious shopping the mainstream, not just for a select few.”
